After being asked on many occasions “what is it like to live in Beira?” I decided to try and give an insight into the dynamic city of Beira on the coast of Mozambique, as well as what life is like in general living over here in Africa. After spending most of my life in the UK were I was born and bred and where my family still are, I moved to Africa 10 years ago this year and have never looked back. 

I hope to share with you the ups and the downs, the daily struggles, the moments of beauty and heart break and all the other stuff life tends to throw at you. There is no schedule to when I post, or set topic other than life in Africa, it really is a blog written when and if the mood takes me!
